The Dead Air Shim Kit provides three precision-machined stainless steel shims designed for use with barrels featuring 5/8"-24 threading. This kit helps shooters achieve proper alignment and positioning when installing suppressors and muzzle devices.
Each kit includes three different shim thicknesses to accommodate various installation requirements. The shims are constructed from durable stainless steel with a silver finish for corrosion resistance.
For best results, always install the thickest shim(s) against the barrel first, then add thinner shims as needed. The packaging includes a graphic detailing each shim's thickness and identifying features.
