The Dead Air Shim Kit is designed for barrels with 1/2"-28 threads, commonly found on .223/5.56 rifles. This kit provides shooters with precision spacing options for achieving optimal suppressor alignment.
Three different shim thicknesses are included in the kit: .004", .006", and .060". Each shim is clearly identified with distinguishing features as shown on the packaging graphics for easy selection during installation.
Constructed from stainless steel in a silver finish, these shims provide durable, corrosion-resistant performance. When installing, always place the thickest shim(s) on the barrel first.
