The Ruger American Gen II bolt-action rifle chambered in 7mm-08 Remington features a 20-inch spiral-fluted barrel with a 1:8.5-inch twist rate. The barrel is cold hammer-forged with ultra-precise rifling for exceptional accuracy and is threaded 5/8"-24 with a factory-installed radial port muzzle brake.

The gray splatter synthetic stock provides excellent grip without sharp or abrasive surfaces. A soft rubber recoil pad with a large radius heel eases shouldering while progressively collapsing to reduce felt recoil. The length of pull adjusts from 13.75" down to 12" via a removable spacer, and an installed low comb can be removed for low-mounted sights.

The rifle features the Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger with a crisp release and user-adjustable pull weight between 3 and 5 pounds. The patented Power Bedding integral bedding block system positively locates the receiver and free-floats the barrel for outstanding accuracy. The one-piece bolt is CNC machined from stainless steel with a 70-degree throw for ample scope clearance.

Additional features include an oversized bolt handle with 5/16"-24 thread pattern, factory-installed one-piece Picatinny scope base, and an intuitive three-position tang safety that locks the bolt. A professionally applied Cerakote coating on the barrel, muzzle brake, receiver, and bolt handle provides durable, easy-to-maintain finish. Includes one 3-round AI-style magazine.
