The Thompson Center Arms Encore Prohunter XT is a single-shot inline muzzleloader chambered in .50 caliber magnum. Designed for hunters seeking a reliable black powder platform, this rifle features the Speed Breech XT ignition system that accepts standard 209 shotgun primers for consistent ignition in any weather condition.
The 28-inch fluted barrel is crafted from 416 stainless steel with a WeatherShield finish and features a 1-in-28 inch twist rate optimized for shooting conical projectiles. A solid aluminum PalmSaver ramrod is included for convenient loading and unloading in the field.
The black FlexTech composite stock provides a durable weather-resistant platform with an adjustable 14-inch length of pull and integral recoil pad to manage felt recoil from magnum charges. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts, allowing easy optic installation.
