The Traditions Vortek Strikerfire is a single-shot muzzleloading rifle equipped with the VAPR twist barrel featuring a faster 1:24" twist rate. This improved twist rate better stabilizes bullets, increases accuracy, and expands the range of bullet options compatible with this rifle.
The StrikerFire system cocks the rifle by sliding the striker button forward until it locks. Recessed de-cocking buttons allow quick and quiet de-cocking, and an automatic de-cocking mechanism engages when the action is opened. By eliminating the external hammer, the system delivers faster locktime and allows scope mounting closer to the bore.
Equipped with the TAC2 two-stage competition-style trigger system, the Vortek Strikerfire also features a 1-piece Accelerator breech plug, Dual Safety System, and Speed Load System. A 3-9x40 scope and Quick-T ramrod handle with brass jag are included.
