The Weatherby Vanguard Sporter pays tribute to Weatherby's classic walnut wood finish with a richly grained Monte Carlo stock and elegant checkering. This bolt action rifle delivers the legendary Weatherby quality and precision that shooters have trusted for generations.
Like all Weatherby Vanguard rifles, the Sporter is guaranteed to shoot a 3-shot group of .99 inch or less at 100 yards (SUB-MOA) when used with specified Weatherby factory or premium ammunition. The match-quality, adjustable two-stage trigger (down to 2.5 lbs.) helps deliver the consistent accuracy Weatherby is known for.
Additional features include a matte bead-blasted blued barrel and receiver, 3-position safety, and a drilled and tapped receiver for easy scope mounting. The #2 contour threaded barrel allows for suppressor or muzzle device attachment.
