Reason for the Glock 43X Pistol???

The Glock 43X was designed for the person looking for a concealable pistol with a larger capacity.  Its predecessor the Glock 43 was an excellent firearm the gave the shooter an ultra concealable firearm with known Glock reliability.

The only draw back was with the low capacity of 6 rounds many shooters did not feel comfortable with such a low capacity for defense. Shooters were turning to competitors such as the Sig Sauer P365 or Springfield Hellcat which held twice the Glocks capacity.

Well Glock listened to the masses and introduced the Glock 43X and made the Glock many had been hoping and asking for. Glock released a pistol that shares many characteristics of the

Glock 43 pistol with the length of the Glock 48.  The Glock 43X was released at Shot Show 2019 and is one of the pistols in their new Slim-Line Series.

 

Features of the 43X Pistol

The Glock 43X is chambered in 9mm luge and features a compact Slimline frame with a black slide with an nDLC finish. The 10 round magazine capacity makes it ideal for concealed carry.  The aftermarket does allow for expanded options in capacity.  Many options such as the 15 round and drums are available.  As of the writing of this article there is only one version of the 43X.  Nope cant have the 3rd, 4th or 5th generation even though it does incorporate many 5th generation Glock features.

The pistol is designed for comfort. The G43X combines a compact size grip length, a built-in beaver tail and a subcompact slim slide for a comfortably balanced, versatile grip that´s ideal for a variety of users.  Shooters love the fact that the pistol remains extremely slim for easy concealability yet has enough length on the frame to fit many different size hands. The frame incorporates elements of the Gen5 and Slimline series such as the short trigger distance. It also features a frame with a built-in beavertail, a reversible magazine catch.  It also includes an incredibly accurate, match grade GLOCK Marksman Barrel (GMB) and precision milled front serrations.

The Glock 43X has many different varieties and colors some of which are shown below. There are different cerakoted colors and slide colors.

 

Much more elaborate designed pistols that integrate engraving with different cerakote options.

Glock 43X MOS

The MOS version is for the more advanced tactical shooter.  The MOS version allows for the shooter to mount specific micro optics as well as a Slim Mounting Rail for mounting accessories.
